Covers

Books are often judged by their covers - especially yearbooks! Your yearbook cover should be representative of the entire grade. Ideas include a funky collage, a mascot of your grade, or something abstract.

The cover should set the tone of the yearbook, and tie in with any themes you have incorporated into the book.

Some tips:

• ask creative people in your grade to design something
• remember that you also have the back cover to work with - incorporate it with the front design if you wish
• never, ever, ever have your grade photo as the cover - it looks terrible! (...and we laugh at your book)

Softcovers

To protect your memories for life, Rockstar softcovers are all printed on premium quality extra thick 300 or 350gsm stock.

We then enhance with an extra layer coating - silky smooth matte or gloss celloglaze. Generally we find that stylish, elegant, and subdued designs work better with matte celloglaze, while colourful rainbow and funky designs work best with gloss. Ask your Yearbook Consultant for their advice!
